Yeah... after being stupidly popular for some reason from 1998 to 2007, I'm a bit sensitive now when I post art and get zero attention about it.

The only humanoid art I got a good reception to was Street Fighter art. Everything else? Duds. Almost zero interactions. :( So disappointing.

Thank you! ❤ I'm really afraid people will think this is a test or that I don't want to hear something negative, but I'd rather hear something negative than post something and it getting no attention, y'know?

I hope people tell me honestly so I can gauge whether the emotional strain is worth it!

Will my non-Yoshi, Sonic, or furry art get ANY traction here, or are people just not interested?

I can't make a poll, so I'd like your honest opinion. I won't judge, I promise. ❤ I just want to gauge if it's worth posting if nobody's going to like my other fan art and I feel sad about it.

Hell yeah, I'll take me some Kalos and a reason to use my Switch 2!

(Gen 6 is tied with Gen 3 for my favorite gen, so I'm pretty excited.)

Hell yeah! I take sleep aids, and when they wear off at, like, 3am, I doze. I can't go SUPER back to sleep, so it's more like lucid dreaming.

Last night, I dreamt I was playing Pokemon, and I learned a way to transfer Gen 3 to Gen 6! Then I woke up and realized you could always do that. 😝

I knew her 19 years, 6 of which were actually with me, so she had at least 6 years where she wasn't hiding under a bed.

My brother is an asshole. He never gave her the time of day. When I adopted her, she didn't know what a lap was. She grew to love them. I just had to get a full-time job and couldn't give them to her all the time anymore.

I'm happy I gave her a good life in the end, but sad I didn't do more.

I'm sad that in the end, she didn't want to sleep in bed with me. She mostly stayed in the living room by herself, just sleeping endlessly and barely eating. I feel like I should have been there for her, but I have to leave at 7am and I get home at 6pm weekdays. She stopped wanting laps.

I think now that my surgery is over with and not distracting me, I'm finally really grieving Cici. I've printed out pictures of her at work and taped them to the bottom of my computer monitors.

She was such a pretty girl. No social skills, but she loved me. A real sweetheart when she wanted to be.

If I'm super desperate, next time I can drive north and see if I can make our way onto a frickin' naval base store location, which is actually closer, but it's on a NAVAL BASE.

I don't even care that it's shiny. I just want my own Miraidon without having to buy my own copy of Violet.

Yesterday, @animecwboy.bsky.social and I drove one city over to get to our closest GameStop for the #pokemon Shiny Koraidon/Miraidon event. Apparently that location closed 2 months ago.

So we drove another city over to the next one. They'd sold out an hour prior.

SOMEONE REMEMBERS THE POCKET PICS! YAY! ❤ They were so much easier for me to draw, and they were scratching that "I want to draw Sonic" itch, so I did the thing.

Hell yeah. :D I've met some awesome people on Twitter (not X, screw that), on DeviantArt, all sorts of places that weren't the Yoshi Webpage webring in the '90s/2000s. Most have branched out to other fandoms, but I'm happy for them. They're good artists, good people. And I'm still meeting new ones!

Aw, thank you! I tried to distance myself from it twice, but it just kept pulling me back when I realized it wasn't something to be embarrassed about.

And it's not. It's a fandom, just like any other. And fandoms aren't bad. 😊 It's just..., something you probably don't want to share with strangers.
