That said, there's 9 different "standard" USB connector types. How many do you expect them to support? Why just those? How long have they existed? How much more would you pay for it vs what's already designed, budgeted, and supply-chained to manufacturing facilities?

XKCD kind of handled it already. Beyond that, USB is more for the "customer facing" side of technology. There's still lots of copper, solder, and silicone on the backend that normal people don't generally see or deal with, and legacy compatibility requirements on the front end.

This. Windows loves keeping the problem files after you uninstall (because it treats its users like babies). It'll get rid of them when you reboot. If the problem persists after a simple reboot, uninstall, full power off, give it 10 sec, power back on and try again.

It can be tricky finding good constructive criticism. Especially at the stages where you know something's off, but your eye hasn't caught up to your hand. Those times when you don't want boundless support nor unspecific criticism.

In Discworld, Wizard wasn't simply a job one could apply to (at that time in the writing at least). One was born the eighth son of an eighth son, and that was it: Wizard. That is the context you're not seeing in "Wizard" as a sexual/gendered characteristic in Discworld.

"Wizard" was a gendered trait (eighth son of an eighth son), carrying with it an immutable characteristic: the ability to see the eighth color, Octarine (even Witches couldn't directly perceive it). Esk would be considered intersex and AFAB, and assumed her identity as intersex later in life.

In every other instance in the series, that sort of magic is treated as an exclusively masculine/male trait. And while I generally agree with you, in this case I'm choosing the interpretation that contrasts more with the original post's screenshot.

There are valid readings both ways (Eskarina being trans or being 'techie-minded,') as well as for Cheery Littlebottom being trans vs simply being a person taking their sexuality and pride in their gender into their own hands.
