And when social media is enabling the worst kind of people to be vocal about decrying content that they don't like, rather than simply adhering to the old ways of 'don't like, don't look'... I can see why people would be reluctant to create on their terms.

When people are being attacked left right & centre on social media for having ideas & opinions that 'aren't right' I wonder if we haven't been forced into shells, worried about making 'mistakes' for fear of being mobbed for them.

It's permission, of sorts & as someone who has always struggled with 'doing something wrong' it's like 'okay, I can go all-in with this because I'm "not wrong" Which has me wondering if the modern shift is to blame for this, as well.

Mmmm. I do wonder about the shift. My exp with fandom hasn't been traditional, I was late to the game. And on one hand I can understand how validating it can be when your own ideas then become 'backed' by canon.

If Logos inspires you, that's fantastic! But people would do well to engage with the glut of fanworks already created because there s fantastic stuff out there. These creators do not deserve to have their work belittled b/c an 'official' product contradicts them.

You know, I do wonder if Dion wears those white gloves from the watch art beneath his gauntlets. You can see under his sleeve-poof in some scenes & his forearm is covered. With either a long sleeve or... sexy long white gloves.
