Oh for sure, I also have a quest 1 and no tether is awesome when it cooperates haha. Right now my biggest issue is current computer space isn’t great for VR and (especially after water cooling) lugging my desktop down to the better vr space is a non starter haha.

Ended up working fine. Only issues were with the wireless adapter but from my reading that seemed pretty common on AMD machines and I didn’t feel like diving deeper on that and opted to just use the tether lol

art installation where it's the mechanical arm constantly leaking oil and it has a squeegee attachment and all it can do is use the squeegee to pull its blood I mean oil back into itself so it doesn't seize up.

On the one hand yes the solution is to just pay attention when putting it on the dock but it would still be nice as a fallback.
It’s not something we’d likely ever really see but fun to consider.

Woke up to discover my watch didn’t charge overnight because it wasn’t on the charger correctly. Maybe I’m weird but I think it would be nice to get a notification if I’ve set my watch down and it isn’t charging after like 5 minutes.
