Stole a few moments to play a turn!
First I used overwatch sensibly (a definite earlier failing) and when the blip almost inevitably advanced on us I managed TWO hits on THREE aliens. Yesterday's hero rifleman met the beast head on...

Semi auto snipers on the close quarters map pack was fun. The M417 if I remember it right was my favourite. That and C4 on the flags...

Oh wow, Battlelog still exists! Sadly the stats appear to have gone but it still has saved favourite battle reports.
I do still remember that 31-0. Rush, in a tank, attacking. Lost 3 tanks, didn't get the first m-com and my team NEVER pushed despite me blatantly clearing the place out.

As a primary user of the M249 with suppressor I was always ok with the suppression effect. And I got 100+ kills with every primary and over 1500 with my top 3(?) so I had experience of it all! Doing the snipers was rough. I'm not THAT precise!

I mean I LIKED Metro, especially on Rush (sun was a bit much early day though) but I felt it was an attempt to lure some CoD players in with a more approachable map. Now let me get my tank on the tracks and we'll talk...
I think the Karkand maps were pretty special. I want a table like that one day.

I will always recommend Pendraken for any 10mm stuff if they do it. I've started a French Peninsular force and plan to get some Brits and Spanish too. Even the cuffs have raised lines for painting guidance!

Any why is it Naps, with what is generally the highest model count, has THE most fiddly uniforms?! Probably should have just gone for the 1815 Brunswickers instead of starting on the black watch...

Now you come to mention it... I'm not sure. I did quite like the non-uniform uniform of the ACW troops. Vietnam seems to suit my painting preferences too. Really I think I enjoy most unfussy 10mm sculpts (particularly WW1) or the odd character model like Athena here.

Wait... I'd left GW when the orange box came out and that wasn't that long ag... it was that long ago wasn't it. Back in the mists of time when GW was a social place and the specialist games ranges weren't just on ebay, 3d print sites or forgotten in boxes behind the Xmas decorations.

That hard pressed rifleman has beat down another one AND survived an acid splash!
If that's not enough a groups of three burst out of the undergrowth in his face and he slapped the first one down immediately.

If he doesn't survive now I'm gonna riot.
