Its so hard to project what 2028 will look like because there are three massive unknowns between now and then: what happened in the 2026 elections, who is president, who is running for the Republican nomination for president
Possible you're misunderstanding the side being taken? He's saying people arguing moderates perform worse are overall wrong (but not always specifically wrong)

That's not true! He tried to do that, failed, and now is letting subsidies that were passed ten years later expire, which is very bad but is not repealing the original bill
In this case its Obama should have used the bully pulpit to threaten Joe Lieberman, a guy who had *already been primaried* and won anyway, then did not try to run again
I agree its not sacrosanct but in the same way there were not 60 votes for the better version of the ACA there were not 50 votes for removing the filibuster
Yeah I'm not excited about *this* administration prosecuting Bolton, but at least he's very likely broken some laws, unlike the other wildly dissimilar people listed
I cannot imagine having the hypocritical mindlessness to post a sentence that starts with "midwiving fascism" and ends with how you wouldn't care about someone being imprisoned because they were a bad political candidate
...so why the fuck would I worry about going to the protest or not? I might get targeted for posting on here or being a Dem donor or just having a Portland zip code, or for something else that isn't even true
Things like the No Kings protests help with the elections path. I'm not sure a general strike (even if you could actually organize it) even helps with the other one.
