Surprisingly no "hunt" so "search" instead.

Galaxies of nomads searched and were searching for a rock to plant their feet on, and when an outpost proved viable — the temperatures survivable, the atmosphere changeable, the ground growable — the settlers came flooding.

There was a routine and a comfort in the routine. A relationship that was less the blazing flame of new passion and more like a warm blanket. A peace you could fall asleep in.
