They would rather listen to 15 minutes of "Proud to be an American" on repeat than have to subject their ears to hearing anything in Spanish.

The video of Noem on the roof grumbling at a guy in a chicken suit is absolutely ridiculous.

Getting a card, and inside it says "Prompting Of You. Love, _______". The card is unsigned.

You better sell that idea to hallmark

Another disappointing trend is people using screenshots of google AI or chatGPT to back up an argument.

"Here's what chatGPT says..." "According to Google AI..." Click through to the sources! Stop trusting a summary that's nothing more than an aggregate of pages that contradict each other!
marissamadness.bsky.social
People losing their ability to conduct basic research and discern reliable sources from the unreliable is a serious concern. The more they think AI summary is "good enough" just because it's fast, those critical thinking skills atrophy.
marissamadness.bsky.social
Probably one of the most common examples is the google AI summary. It takes more time to get to actual sources by bumping all the search results down significantly. It's frequently inaccurate, so I click the little link footnote and it gives me only 3 webpages that don't actually answer my question.

Me too haha. I liked his synopsis.

No "those who can't do, teach" comment to this? C'mon guys lol

I make it a point to never click on anything from the New York Post. Even if they're pushing something this stupid, it isn't worth spreading online and attracting people to their page (out of outrage)

Ok yes, many casualties in the sense you are saying, but I hope you both realize that using "massacre" figuratively is not the way to go when 1. someone already died from a shooting at the CDC and 2. real massacres are occurring every day in this godforsaken country

I can't take him seriously. When the mask opened to reveal his face I reflexively laughed

It's hard to compete with all the clever signs people make across the country.

Immigrants hold down the country's backbone for decades. It's the cheap Republican business owner's dream.

That party wanted the immigration system to be broken this way for a long time. How else can they take advantage of the under-the-table wage they say keeps their businesses from going under?

Guess why they're targeting kitchens, landscape businesses, roofing sites, and uber lines at the airport. They know exactly what kind of jobs that Hispanic immigrants do in the US, the jobs no one else wants to do, especially not for below minimum wage. The "nice" way to say it is "essential worker"

With what's been going on these days, and what already has been attempted at the CDC campus, "BREAKING: Friday night massacre" is not the best way to lead this announcement off at all.

My first reaction was thinking there'd been another mass shooting with heavy casualties.

I think it's really supposed to be *older* by 14 years. His cholesterol is through the roof with all that McDonald's
