One could justifiably say of Trump what DOJ special counsel Hur said of Biden after he interviewed him: he “is an elderly man with a poor memory.” Why do the legacy media make so little of this? Or do they just dismiss it as another Trump lie? The new normal.

#ShowMeYourKnits 🧶 Liv wants to see spooky knits this week. I don't really subscribe to the whole Halloween thing, so didn't think I had anything to offer. Then I remembered my Deep in the Forest Mittens, which do look rather mysterious. Noro Kuryeon Sock for the background, cream alpaca for trees.

A pair of traditional shaped mittens lying on a wooden table. The mittens depict a forest full of interlocking trees. The trees are knit in cream alpaca from very deep stash; the background is Noro Kureyon Sock yarn in shades of blues, greens, orange and purple. The mittens have a Latvian braid on the narrow cuff. Due to the nature of the colourchange background yarn, the mittens are fraternal rather than matching, showing blue through purple, green and turquoise on one mitten, and turquoise, green, lime green orange and purple on the other.
