Alle reden darüber, dass ja gerade alle erkältet und krank sind und ganz viel ausfallen. Und dann setzen sich die Leute in einen vollen Zugwagon und niesen und husten sich über Stunden die Seele aus dem Leib, ohne Maske. Und dann sind alle überrascht.

Nachdem gestern Max Raabe die deutsch-englische Version gesungen hat, musste ich das Jiddische Original suchen „bey mir bistu sheyn“ בײַ מיר ביסטו שיין. wurde 1932 von Sholom Secunda, Musik, und Jacob Jacobs,Text,für das Musical (NY) „Men ken lebn nor men lost nisht“ geschrieben.

11 October 1933 | A Polish Jewish girl, Berthe Zlotnik, was born in Będzin. She emigrated to France.

In August 1942 she was deported to #Auschwitz from #Drancy with her mother Sarah, her sisters Jeanine & Yvette and her brother Jacques. All were murdered in a gas chamber.

Ich bin kurz davor, aus Empörung vom Stuhl zu kippen.
Da wurde ich jahrelang hinters Licht geführt.
In den Hack- und Holzschnitzeln aus dem Baumarkt meines Vertrauens ist gar kein richtiges Schnitzel drin!! Und Hack auch nicht.
Ein Platiksack mit Holzschnitzeln, wie er in vielen Bau- und Gartenmärkten für Gartenbeete erhältlich ist.
