LBN 437 The Gecko Nebula captured from my dark site in southern France last month 🇫🇷 😊🔭

It was shot on the EdgeHD 8 with Hyperstar for a total integration time of 8 hours in OSC and Mono. The red nebulosity was enhanced with Ha data.

The Gecko Nebula LBN 437 is a dark nebula embedded in the red emission nebula SH2-126. It lies at a distance of about 1.200 light years from Earth in the constellation of Lacerta. Its shape resembles a Gecko hence the name 🦎

La belle parhélie du soir ! 🔭👀

Un lotissement avec une parhélie au-dessus dans le ciel. Le soleil est à l'horizon avec deux boules lumineuses de chaque côté, avec un petit arc en ciel.

The bane of all #astrophotography 🔭 📷 amateurs is stars throwing a tantrum right next to tiny, delicate, nebulae...Navi is such a star, glowing from just beyond the top left corner of this image of the Ghost of Cassiopeia #IC63 I shot from my backyard 🙂. What do you see @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social

$The Ghost of Cassiopeia nebula shot with a 130mm Astro-Physics refractor and a dedicated cooled Poseidon-M monochrome astronomy camera. Filters used were RGB Antlia V-Pro filters for the RGB stars, and Baader 6.5nm narrow band H-alpha and OIII filters for the emission lines of hydrogen and oxygen. Narrowband images : 139x120s for H-alpha, 109x120s for OIII. RGB images : 60x30s for each RGB channel.$

Content d’avoir enfin fait cette image de la nébuleuse de l’aigle.
Les piliers sont assez sympas, cela a nécessité 5h en hgb/newton 200 et ccd depuis le beau ciel du lot en mai dernier. Il faut que je pense à m’offrir les filtres SII et OIII ;-)

Champ sur le coeur de la nébuleuse de l’aigle, on voit l’amas d’étoiles jeunes M16 et les régions sombres de formation d’étoiles

Gros plan sur les piliers de la création. Des nuages froids d’hydrogène et de poussières visibles par contraste selon l’illumination des étoiles et le rayonnement de l’hydrogène ionisé.

This was shot on the EdgeHD 8 with Hyperstar for a total integration time of about 4 hours using an OSC cam with just the UV/IR-Cut filter.

LDN 1251 is a dark nebula in the constellation of Cepheus. It consists of cosmic molecular clouds and dust blocking the stars. Its form resembles a fish hence the name. But I doubt that anyone verified its smell yet 😅

Oh je suis surpris qu'on voie les tuiles.
J'ai jamais essayé, je n'ai pas refais de mosaïque depuis un moment, j'utilisais ICE jusque ici
