Taika made a Thor movie that didn't suck. Then he got to do whatever he wanted (and it cost less than $15m to make).

Every time the head referee in the Indiana-Oregon game announces a penalty, he looks like he's really sorry he has to do it. I'm starting to feel bad for him.

I thought he was great in "Requiem for a Dream" 25 years ago, but having Jared Leto in a film would never be a tick in the plus column for reasons to see that film. He was bearable in "Blade Runner 2049"

Wait... I thought that ***I*** was the antichrist. I mean, the 666 birthmark and (cat) minions of hell at my command. Well, not command really, but they do live here... And we share the furniture!!

Army commercial: We do more before 8 am than most people do all day.

Me: There's a BEFORE 8 am?!?

Oh man... They gave it to a woman. A woman of colour. A woman of colour who deserved it. Trump will be livid.

Damn... my sister worked at a Chi Chi's like 40 years ago!

Dave Lombardo is drummer for Dead Cross. Talk about band jumping: Slayer, Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, Fantomas, Philm, Grip Inc., Empire State Bastard, Bungle, Misfits (live), Venamoris, and albums with John Zorn, DJ Spooky, Voodoocult, Apocalyptica, Vivaldi (!), Annihilator, and a solo album).

So has there ever been anyone who has bitched and moaned and begged and talked and cajoled and demanded and got sycophantic underlings to talk, talk, talk about how much they absolutely deserve and should immediately be given the Nobel Peace Prize?!?

FFS. I guess "play it cool" isn't his bag.

I genuinely liked him in "Requiem for a Dream" which seems like it was a long time ago (25 years to be exact) -- before he became whatever brand of obnoxious douche he seems to have settled on being.

I lived in "Brizzle" from 2002-2007 (I worked at Bristol Uni & my oldest son was born there). Looks like the waterfront rejuvenation projects that were started back then are going really nicely.

When I was young it always amazed me that there were conservatives my age. University years (i.e., my 20s), same thing. My 30s, same thing. My 40s, still somewhat surprised. Now in my 50s, I'm not surprised anymore... But I definitely don't like it.

Except, somehow, even dumber.

Yup, all those Yanks, Canucks, Brits, Frenchies, Soviets, Kiwis, Aussies, and all the other many many Allies who fought and/or died fighting the Axis in WWII were, in fact, ANTIFA.

How soon some forget that "fascism bad" because there was a time when most of the world was united as ANTIFA.

There is definitely a reason that the good ol' boys from TEXAS got sent to Chicago. Many of them want a race war and will be happy to shoot Black Northerners and claim they were defending themselves.

So... This must benefit Russia in some way? Tuckface has been more of a friend to Putin than Trump for a while now.
mattalica1972.bsky.social
Sure, sure, "condensation" --- like that's even a thing!!!

Man, these people are dumber than a bag of hammers... Bless their hearts. Bless all their hearts.

Yeah, I have an album or two that exist in my library as reminders of someone important who is no longer with us.
