Tomorrow, we’re sitting down with @owenlikescomics.bsky.social to discuss @ryannorth.ca ‘s first vol of Fantastic Four. At the end of issue 1 Ryan gives us his four guiding lights of the book (below). This narrative and artistic ethos is one reason why this book is a damn modern classic. #comicsky
Text that reads: 1. The Fantastic Four are fun. These are people who know they can help people and are here to do exactly that. No angst, having super-powers rules! 2. The Fantastic Four are adventurers. Exploring the unexplored is fun and gratifying. The unknown and the impossible are crazy interesting! 3. The Fantastic Four can do anything. If we want to recapture the feeling of the FF as they were in the '60s where anything could happen, we have to let what's come before be there to inspire stories but not limit them. 4. The Fantastic Four are accessible. This is a comic for people who've read every Fantastic Four appearance since 1961, but it's also one that welcomes people who have never read a single Fantastic Four comic betore or even a single Marvel comic. While we have deep-cut references to what's come before, you won't feel left out if you don't know it, because this is a comic for everyone.

We're at the Gotham City panel at #NYCC. Announced: Sirens: Love Hurts. The girls are real; they fight and get pissed off, talk about each other behind their backs, but they're still all friends. The book has something for everybody. It will make you want to go party and get married.

I’m going to predict this here before tomorrow, (and if I’m wrong we can point and laugh at me) one of the reasons Psylocke might not have a solo is I think Cyclops will not be a part of the Adjectiveless team post AOR and Psylocke will be the team lead/main character.
