you can definitely REQUEST delayed payment or partial payment, unfortunately it would be at the landlord's discretion to grant it & work with you but in this moment one would hope they understand the reality

I don't believe there is any way for us to mandate landlords agree at least for local level
Arlington does have an eviction prevention/emergency financial assistance program, but there is far greater need than the resources available.

APS is launching an evening hot meal program to support students and families during the federal government shutdown. Starting Thu, Nov. 6, free hot dinners will be served Mon-Fri from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Wakefield, Washington-Liberty and Yorktown.
