leaning into this text editor/visual editor dual, i've made the code colourer detect comments like /*====*/ and turn them into sliders. I really like how plain old source code remains the 'source of truth' for all state and the editor just doodles over it.

I switch off Warp (fancy terminal) because of product changes to become a worse version of Claude Code. I'm back on Ghostty + zsh, but I do really miss some of the quality of life things, particularly the smart Cursor-style typeahead tab suggestions. Anyone have recs?

Chatted with a highschooler today who had one of those new locking phone sleeves where you can’t use you phone at school, he liked it because it cuts down on distraction and you don’t have to worry about being filmed or bullying

Ah, exactly what I was looking for! I want to better understand this turing process (reminds me of RAFT leader election) because even after reading this I can conceive of how it can end up with a periodic stripe pattern but not quite how you can get ( | )

I am a huge believer that nice urls are important for growth and ergonomics, but on the other hand if you do have to stuff a hash in there, its ok if it’s at the very end
