I trophy way more in lorwyn eclipsed than other sets, and I'm wondering now if it's because maybe the last big set I really got good at was lorwyn, and my habits that I developed there work really well in the tribal heavy sets (cut a under opened tribe/color hard in pack one to get fed on 2-3)

“are you scared of a fucking whistle dawg” has been knocking around my head all day
one of the agents said “okay we know” when we were whistling so i leaned in and whistled louder and he threatened to pepper spray me. i then said “are you scared of a fucking whistle dawg” and he very meekly said “no i’m not scared of a whistle”

New planet just dropped and it

1) is almost exactly Earth-sized

2) has a year that's almost exactly 1 Earth year.

3) orbits a star that is not a 💢temperamental little shit M-dwarf 💢but is instead a 🧡 good orange boi 🧡

Me for @science.org based on results presented at #RockyWorlds4: 🔭🧪

When people ask which sci-fi I think best predicted our future, I usually point to stuff like Deus Ex and Cybperpunk. I really was not expecting Dune to be on the money as much as it has been.
sorry is there games journalism discourse happening, I was busy clumsily photoshopping a sword into the pope's hand on company time for a @joshuawolens.bsky.social story

one telling thing about ai/smartglasses/etc is like so much cool new tech in the past gets taken up by kids and eventually is adopted by the mass market; me and friends were on BBS's playing doom long before the internet.

no kid likes ai except as a slop machine for the slop slot (homework)
