He is a very good interviewer by modern standards simply by coming to interviews prepared, asking follow-up questions, and not accepting bullshit answers. This often catches his subjects completely flat footed and they tend to say very damning things

I do think Isaac Chotiner's ability to set people on fire with his mind is a bit overblown but it is fun to kind of go along with the idea that he is the Anton Chigurh of Normal Questions

Today I passed a billboard w/ an ai-ass nativity scene beneath a giant cosmic Jesus and big text asking "Do You Love The Man As Much As The Baby?" and I choked on the coke zero I was drinking while driving and I stifled a cough and the bubbles foamed up through my nasal passages. I felt so present.
