I loved Novak as an antagonist. This is a character that clearly got dealt a really bad hand and he's pissed about it. On top of that, he goes toe-to-toe with Blade and is every bit his equal in terms of combat ability. In some ways, I think Novak is a distorted mirror image of Blade.
I don't think I've blocked anything that fast in my entire life.
Blocked. Fuck 'em. Don't give them the time of day.

Homeland Security and the White House have landed on Bluesky.

If you're a dumbass with no self control and absolutely must fight the T. Administration online, do it on X.

Otherwise, else your posts could endanger this place.

Don't engage. Block.
Well, the plan won't be successful, because these people are fucking morons. The only people that would be okay with that are the MAGAs, and there aren't enough of them to stop us from taking this government back. Trump's trying to be a strong-man like Putin and he's failing MISERABLY at it.
The problem with THAT, is that Trump CAN'T be a dictator for life for one reason alone: His life is increasingly getting shorter, and Trump's RAPIDLY declining mental and physical health tells me he might not be around for the mid-terms, and I seriously doubt Vance would protect Johnson at all.
This isn't going to end well for Johnson. In ANY capacity, and he fucking knows it.
Speaking of which, I really liked David Battley's character of Ergo. Despite being goofy at first, he had a lot of heart, and when push came to shove, you didn't want to mess with him, because when he took his own power seriously, he was formidable.
My only real gripe with Krull was the horrendous dub of Lyssa. They didn't have to do that. One of my favorite sequences is when they get the firemares and ride off to the Black Fortress. The music was great, the visuals were awesome and David Battley bouncing around was hilarious.
Whenever I hear the term "literature," my mind goes to Homer, Dante, Shakespeare, Confucius, Sun Tzu. You know, the older and more classical and philosophical stuff. The term doesn't feel like it fits modern writing of any kind. Maybe at it's most technical level, but I could be wrong.
My grandfathers, who both fought in World War II, would be absolutely disgusted with what's been happening. One fought in the Pacific and the other in North Africa and Europe.
I don't think there's any doubt about it at this point. Hate and fascism are unsustainable. Trump's painfully obvious health problems aside, he and the Republicans KNOW that they're going to lose the mid-terms. Completely. All the gerrymandering in the world isn't going to change that fact.
I'd rather watch Uwe Boll's House of the Dead for the rest of my life than watch any MINUTE of an AI movie.
My favorite realization when I watched 28 Years Later a second time, was that the guy who played the grown up Jimmy was Jack O'Connell, the guy who played Remmick in Sinners.
I actually really liked the chemistry between Jai Courtney and Bruce Willis. Die Hard 5 was a lot more fun than it had any right to be. I just wish the villains were more interesting. Also, the Russian cab driver is awesome.
I could think of EASIER ways to deliberately lose the 2026 mid-terms, but these idiots are diving in head-first. I think you're right about this doing irreparable damage to the MAGA movement.
