Editing a series that took me 6 years to finish has certainly allowed me to spot whenever I changed my mind about certain aspects of writing - such as where paragraphs should start. But man is it a pain to clean it all up and make it feel uniform before release ^^;; #amwriting #WritingCommunity

Wrapped up the first novel of Ghost Path on Monday and feel pretty good about it. The plot developed nicely and feels pretty natural. I've even got a good idea of how to handle the transition to book 2. Now I wait and see how big a disaster it feels during edits XD #amwriting #WritingCommunity

We've lived in some places where it was hard to get stuff in the past, so I'm sure the expanded distribution is nice to just make stuff available in those places. But if I *really* want something tomorrow, I'll just go to the store x.x Access to stuff is great. I don't need it the next day for sure!

I have noticed that the carrier that most often delivers to our house just marks all of their packages as delayed by default now, even if they're on schedule or early. I guess that's just easier than dealing with people complaining about stuff not arriving more quickly.

Lately, every time I adjust my schedule to try to lessen the amount of words I need to fit into a day to reach my goals, the scenes grow longer, so I end up writing way more than anticipated and about as much as I was trying to avoid o_o #amwriting #WritingCommunity

The most frustrating thing about cross stitch is when you've just sat down and gotten into a nice rhythm with the stitches - and then your dang thread tangles and snaps when you're trying to untangle it x.x

I was never entirely thrilled with the one time we paid for a custom frame job (expensive and not spectacular results), so I've been acquiring my own frames with plans to do some custom matting. I've pinned down a method, so I'm hopefully about the final results 🤞

I have finally started making a concerted effort to frame some of the pictures we brought back from England (10 years ago) and it feels really nice to see some of them in frames even if it's a bit of a process.
