This Supreme Court case in Louisiana is about one thing, and one thing only: reinstituting Jim Crow by way of ensuring that Black Americans are taxed without receiving representation in Congress.

Everything else is noise and bluster.

This stolen Supreme Court is going to send us back to the 1860s.

Let’s stop pretending. The issue before the Supreme Court right now is easy to understand: There are still many people on the far right who don’t see Black Americans as equals...they see them through the same filthy slur they whisper when the cameras are off. That's right...that word.

Other than the TV show, the only thing in that city named "Portlandia" is that giant Statue. The only other name for PORTLANDERS is during Rose Fest when they are (unofficially) Rosarians. Here's Portlandia in all her glory

The one time I was ok with the sight of Armed Military Soldiers in Down Town Portland was on 9/11 and the next few days following. During the George Floyd Protests, it was maybe an area of 3 city blocks square of the area that was under destruction, and it didn't last longer than maybe a day...
