I made it with cardboard base papier mache, paint and batik fabric. I fashioned them to look exaggerated similar to Brahala. I was working with limited color palettes for spray paint so i color him black. I want him to look more like local village dog

Asu Baung mask.
Asu Baung, is a siluman ( a type of hidden spirit) from east Jawa, they are well known with Madura people.

They have dog head and they howl like in their name sake. Asu Baung can turn invisible and live in secluded forests where they guard the place.
