Trump at Christopher Reeve's funeral:

"I'm really good at walking. Christopher couldn't believe it, actually."
mglovesfun.bsky.social
What an enormous surprise
mglovesfun.bsky.social
Does Trump think he can just ban the imports and exports of cooking oils?
ronfilipkowski.bsky.social
First there was the Opium Wars. Now we have the Cooking Oil War.
mglovesfun.bsky.social
Trump should troll more funerals.

Just turn up and go "hey, my heart is healthier than this guy's!"

Trump says he's better at dodging bullets than Charlie Kirk.

Technically true, I suppose.

Trump at the Charlie Kirk memorial event: "They fired sniper rifles at ICE agents, and me. But I made a turn at a good time. I made a turn at a good time. Charlie couldn't believe it, actually."

Which is why there was a "no tyrants" protest in the UK last time.

Who was that Twitter Files guy? Was that Matt Taibbi?

I, for one, am shocked.

Trump just bombed six more people in the Caribbean, for a total of 27 civilians who have been killed so far by the US military. It’s illegal for the military to target civilians who do not pose an immediate threat. This is murder.
U.S. Military Kills Another 6 People in 5th Caribbean Strike, Trump Says
In a social media post, the president said the people aboard a boat were suspected of smuggling drugs for an unspecified group his team had labeled terrorists.

Here's the explanation of the gist of the DHS ruling.

storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
Despite the Court’s order, Defendants have now inserted the
contested conditions into Plaintiff States’ award letters for DHS
grants, along with statements promising that “[i]f the injunction
is stayed, vacated, or extinguished, the [contested conditions]
will immediately become effective.” See Pl. States’ Mot. Enforce
J. or, in Alt., Clarify Scope Inj. (“Pls.’ Mot.”) Ex. 4, at 36, Dkt. No. 73-4. To accept these awards, Plaintiff States must
therefore agree to comply with the contested conditions subject to
a condition precedent, i.e., a stay of the Court’s injunction and,
presumably — though the award letters fail to mention it — vacatur
of the contested conditions under the Administrative Procedure Act
(“APA”). See id. at 2, 36.

Well, might be a class of two, but I suspect it's unique.

Aren't languages amazing.
mglovesfun.bsky.social
Or "an historical".

"an historic" seems to be a class of one.

Never in my life that I can recall.

mglovesfun.bsky.social
Would you say "an history"?
mglovesfun.bsky.social
Nobody would say "an history" though. It sounds ridiculous.

Jim Comey asks Judge Nachmanoff to find him a judge outside of EDVA to DQ Lindsey the Insurance Lawyer, so he can get on with it.

[Chief Judge in 4th C Albert Diaz will pick the judge.]

NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE MOTION ON UNLAWFUL APPOINTMENT
Please take notice that on October 20, 2025, James Comey, by counsel, will
file his motion to dismiss challenging the lawfulness of the appointment of the
United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. See, e.g., United States
v. Garcia, Crim No. 2:25-CR-00230-DGC-BNW, ECF No. 39 (D. Nev. Sept. 30,
2025); United States v. Giraud, et al., Crim No. 1:24-768-MWB, ECF Nos. 144, 145
(D.N.J. Aug. 21, 2025).
The Court advised at arraignment that such motion will require designation
of and assignment to an out-of-district judge to hear and resolve that motion. See 28
U.S.C. § 292(b); Minute Order, ECF No. 19 (Oct. 8, 2025). Thus, in the interest of
efficiency and to avoid any unnecessary delay in such process, Mr. Comey files the
instant Notice to formally alert the Court.

I'm sorry, is the Trump Administration talking to a tech platform?

Is it...requesting content moderation?
Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago.
The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.
