#slavtober / #inktober Day 3 - One of my favourite Finnish traditions is that on the Summer Solstice (Juhannus) eve maidens have to pick 7 different flowers and run around a bit, put them under their pillow to dream about their future spouses.

I felt exactly like this when I was going through the last years of my stretched out degree in uni. It's awful and makes you feel worthless. But you are not. What you are is a bully to yourself and the best thing you can do is give yourself some slack ❤️

#slavtober / #inktober day two! These Northern, specifically Finnish, dancing shoes are made for our traditional folk dances and are some of the comfiest shoes I've ever worn. I believe I still have a pair somewhere, as an ex- folk-dancer. The name of the shoes are 'Supikkaat'.
