Getting my M.Div in Food Science, thesis on the "Transubstantiation of Mountain Dew and Higher Orders of Caffeine Chain of Being." Will cop to knowing cop stuff. Better to be remembered as a sharp lover of sandwiches than a slick merchant of hate.

Drew Struzan, an artist whose talent for realistic portraiture and inventive composition captured the magic and adventure of films by directors like Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Frank Darabont in some 200 posters, died this month. He was 78.
Drew Struzan, Masterly Painter of Movie Posters, Dies at 78
He created realistic imagery for the “Star Wars” franchise, the Indiana Jones films and the “Back to the Future” trilogy. He also put Alice Cooper in a tuxedo and tails for an album cover.

It's probably up there because of Disney World, and Universal, etc. which I'm guessing has a higher frequency of one time visits among American families than New York. If these are listed in "most visited" order, I'm a little surprised SF is in the top 4, but I guess it too has a tourism history.
Holding credentials is not immunity from being certifiable.
Yes, lot of pearl clutching among those who haven't bothered to look at law enforcement over the past 25 years. I guess they're hoping their digital artifacts will be picked up and sepia toned by the procedurally generated Ken Burns algorithm doc coming in the 2080s.
I was going to say, I see someone who hasn't really or even ever looked a law enforcement for the past 25 or more years, but jockeying to be a sepia tinged quote in Ken Burns doc in the 2080s, and a lot of commenters with the same attention span.
Department of Energy had a memetic geo fence set up allowing only D&D in, this begs the question as to what the kids who went to California might've been exposed to and brought back in as TTRPG nomenclature derived threats. It all ends in Dralasites.

likely show how it doubled down on American policing thin blue insularity and made the problem worse. People like Homan speak through this filter.
Nah, there's a whole ecosystem of message boards and forums (ICE has to have something somewhere that's between Domelights and HonorFirst) where 'shoulda said' jerks circle around and how five each other over their righteousness. The existence of these spaces some online cultural historian will /1
After the red box, AD&D was sort of handed down to us by a friend's older brother.
to at least me. Physical store options were Waldenbooks and Hobbytown at the time, and the stock was never robust. Not sure what drew me to Star Frontiers, but it wouldn't be till like maybe '87-88 that is start paying attention to the ads and reviews in Dragon that painted a wider ecosystem. 2/
The Shadow of Lake Geneva and attendant IRL licensing casts a long shadow over Hawkins, blinding those under the runes of TSR from any Chaosium catalyst.

But more seriously I buy it. As a Red Boxer in 85 or 86, it took me a minute to realize there were other games, and there was sort of blinders 1/
Some might astronaut meme that. They wouldn't be entirely off base.
The FBI can't even fashion police itself no more

FBI director in raid jacket, 5.11s and fucking sneakers to pro sports _gambling_ bust press conference is not NBA dress code. Also not generally FBI either. The HSI raid jackets over suit pants/shoes are what we call a sycophantic look. You don't need to be @dieworkwear.bsky.social to see this. 1/
This story is as relevant now as its publication.
Near Milwaukee, two lives intersect in a house that catches fire.

What came before and after shows there’s one kind of justice for those who own and another for those who rent.

In a rewatch should I shoot at as a binge or, you know, sip at it.

I forget which season but the discussion of Hickock's drinking style is forever etched in my head.

Donald Trump is the FIRST president to ever be unable to continue SNAP benefits during a shutdown.
Carter. Reagan. Bush. Clinton. Obama. None of them had to stop SNAP benefits during their shutdowns.
ONLY Trump is incapable of feeding starving Americans.
Sad.
So incompetent.
Wow.

TERRORISTS: "We're going to destroy the White House!"

TRUMP: "Ha, beat you to it! ONCE AGAIN TRUMP IS THE BEST AT EVERYTHING"
The Last Jedi was an homage if not entirely based on WEG Star Wars 1e, and this is not a bad thing, and definitely explains the quibbles about space chases, space collisions, and, well, space.
