It took the Soviets 15 years to produce thousands of T-72 series and most of them rotted. They’re already out of date and vulnerable even in the T-90 guise, they’re wasting money they don’t even have on yesterday’s war. Let them get on with it. Not that they ever will. They’re essentially bankrupt.

DEMOCRACY SUNDAY

Dr Jane Goodall the incredible primatologist who died recently. She has some deeply moving words - please watch. She is one of the people who has always genuinely inspired me, and many others. She does so now from the grave.

Dr. Jane Goodall filmed an interview with Netflix in March 2025 that she understood would only be released after her death.

What Ukraine has achieved is beyond remarkable - Russia’s failure is consequential and dramatic. It’s a way of highlighting that.

It’s still comparative. By the Russian measurement to grasp the length of this war and how badly it’s progressing for Russia. I understand your point and sympathise with it but the comparison remains valid. It’s not worthy of censorship because some people don’t approve of the comparisons validity.

The sooner the better they start the lights out campaign- especially around Moscow. But only after they have destroyed the drone factories.

Deal with Stalin that remained in force until August 6 1945

Arguably it started the day Hitler came to power. From that day on it was inevitable. Japan never joined the Axis until September 1940. The anti-Comintern pact was 1936, but that was largely swept under the carpet in 1939 with the Nazi-Soviet non aggression pact on 23 August. Japan then had its own

Because only the Russians call
Their part in WW2 1941-5 the Great Patriotic War. That’s how they frame it for comparative purposes. This gets posted on Telegram for them to read it.

I think that’s stretching it a bit. You could argue it’s started in 1931 with the invasion of Manchuria and the establishment of the Manchukuo Protectorate with former Chinese emperor Henri Pu-Yi as its puppet leader.
Or 1936 with the Italian invasion of Abyssinia.

The Nazi invasion of Russia - which is what Russia calls the Great Patriotic War began 04.44hrs German summer time on 22nd June 1941. It ended when Russia accepted German surrender on May 9th 1945, in Berlin, for Soviet propaganda reasons, the actual unconditional surrender was accepted the day

And that’s where he is right now. The Aliyev apology was cringeworthy in the extreme- Aliyev looked like that cat that got the cream and didn’t even look at Putin as he leant in to quietly offer his apology almost hoping the cameras wouldn’t see or hear it. I bet that wasn’t shown in Moscow TV.

it’s about getting Trump not to supply complex weapons to Ukraine, not about securing peace. Again what Putin is missing is that Ukraine is already at the point of its own complex missiles as a solution and it doesn’t need Tomahawk, or the control
America would have on their use.

Tomahawk will trash relations with Russia if supplied - while he thinks Trump thinks that matters - is his way of stopping it happening and hangs on the belief Trump cares.

It’s the persistent effort by Putin to put daylight between Europe and the US that seems to have little consistent traction. Trump isn’t interested and feels largely used by Putin. Putin saying

that Ukraine might get Tomahawks is obsessing him and the Russian military when right now it’s a long shot they were ever really on the cards.

PUTIN TRIES DESPERATELY TO BLAME EUROPE & PUSH HIS REFLEXIVE RESPONSE CAMPAIGN

Putin’s message is Europe is the war monger pressing Ukraine to keep fighting. His reflexive response campaign is designed to make Europe commit some kind of aggressive act to reinforce that perception.

Ukrainian Air Assault Forces repelled a major Russian assault on the Dobropillia axis. Russians attempted to capture Vodymyrivka and Sofiivka using 6 tanks, ~40 IFVs, 40+ vehicles, and several hundred troops. Ukraine destroyed 3 tanks, 13 IFVs, 41 vehicles, and eliminated around 100 personnel.
