Oh god I blinked and day 11 came... Arsyn begins as a very passive character, but as she grows up, she begins to express her desires, intentions, and boundaries more clearly. Her family hinders that growth because she will sometimes revert to her former ways when she is with them.

I'm a bit late, but still here! So far, the main setting of my WIP is a fantastical town named Mugwort Garth. Built from the ruins of two warring cities, Mugwort Garth's background in tea and espionage creates an atmosphere of cottagecore skullduggery that pervades Arsyn's hometown.

I'm definitely inspired by Terry Pratchett, and lately I've been reading short stories by Peter S. Beagle that are. tickling my creative brain. But this initially started as a DND backstory for a cleric, in case I ever got to play DND again! (I participated in a oneshot once and never got to again)

I'm a little late but here I am! My initial ideas for this WIP involve the family of Arsyn (my main character) pressuring her into self-studying sorcery, and then sending her to wizard school when she doesn't show any magical aptitude. She isn't very passionate about magic and prefers daydreaming.
