Canadian who has ended up in the US, and still a little confused how that happened. My landlord doesn’t allow pets so forming parasocial relationships with all of the cats and dogs online.

"Maria" harvests olives in the Reedley, CA area without a union contract. She tells us she earns $5 per bucket. In 8–9 hours she picks 15–18 buckets, which isn't even minimum wage. She knows the law says she should get minimum wage, but the law isn't enforced. #WeFeedYou

Occasionally my Halloween costume “work” isn’t just badly editing pictures of internet cats. Sometimes it’s badly putting makeup on myself
