starbucks workers yet again proving to be a force for good, despite starbucks corporate's best effort
Unlike other businesses in Minneapolis, Starbucks is allowing ICE agents into stores against the concerns of baristas and our community.

That's why our union is taking action. Across Minnesota, baristas are demanding that Starbucks update their guidance around ICE immediately.

NEW: Independent testing found chemicals in one of Starbucks's roasts that the EPA labels unsafe for human consumption.

Now, Starbucks is being sued over their "100% Ethical Sourcing" label, also citing labor abuse throughout the Starbucks supply chain.

Today's strikes comes after dozens of Los Angeles fast food workers and @sbworkersunited.org baristas converged on City Council to make it clear how serious we are our demands for 55,000+ workers.

In 2025, we begun moving a #FastFoodFairWork ordinance.

In 2026, we’ll do whatever it takes to win.

In an atrocious act of violence, ICE killed Renee Good in Minneapolis.

We call on working people to unite against ICE and to stand up against this regime of fear and cruelty. An injury to one is an injury to all. ICE out now!
Renee Nicole Good was killed by ICE. We demand full accountability and ICE out of our communities immediately.

The state of our union: strong

bsky.app/profile/sbwo...
BREAKING: While baristas continue the largest ULP strike in Starbucks history, 19 more stores filed for a union election today - one of the biggest filing days since our union began.

330+ workers across 15 states hope to join the 250+ baristas who have unionized since mid-November alone.

Starbucks seems obsessed with spending millions boosting CEO pay, executive bonuses, and more money for shareholders, but they’re failing the baristas who make all their profits possible. RT if you agree!
