24 Years! 🎉 Americans have ranked nurses as the most trusted profession!

This honor goes to all our members for their commitment to caring and advocating for our patients and our communities! Management can try to paint nurses as villains, but everyone knows who the real heroes are!

When the weather gets cold, we turn up the heat on the picket line! Last night, we saw little progress at negotiations at NewYork-Presbyterian. Nurses put forward a revised set of proposals that hospital executives rejected without offering a counter proposal.

Today at Mount Sinai Morningside, nurses gave harrowing testimony about the violent conditions they experience at work—often exacerbated by unsafe staffing levels.

If safety-net hospitals can deliver fair contracts, so can Montefiore Health System, Mount Sinai NYC, and NewYork-Presbyterian.

Powerful message from Nataki Jarrett, RN at Mount Sinai West.

"To every nurse standing here today: Your voice matters. Your courage and your story matter. We became nurses because we care."

One day longer, one day stronger! Management can paint nurses as villains all they want, but everyone knows who the real heroes are!

It's time for management to put patients over profits and negotiate fair contracts now! #NYCNurseStrike

These nurses were fired by Mount Sinai because they were ready to join the strike line.

Union busting won't silence us.

Montefiore says "Doing Better," but how can they do better when patients are stuck in an overcrowded ED and management attempts to roll back staffing standards won in 2023? Make it make sense, Montefiore.

Nearly 15,000 NYSNA nurses from Mount Sinai Hospital, Mount Sinai Morningside and West, Montefiore, and NewYork-Presbyterian are on strike today because greedy hospital management have given frontline nurses no other choice.

Mount Sinai nurses spoke to DocumentedNY to share their experience facing workplace violence and retaliation after speaking out for workplace safety.

Nurses don't want to strike, but we're ready to do whatever it takes to win a fair contract.

Patient safety is nurses' #1 concern.

It’s irresponsible for hospitals to force nurses on strike and rely on inadequate contingency plans to care for patients.

We don't want replacement nurses here, we want a fair contract now!

When we fight, we win! Yesterday, NYSNA nurses at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center have reached full tentative agreements.

Nurses care for New York and risk their health to do so.

Taking away nurses' healthcare benefits puts nurses', their families' and patients' health at risk.

Nurses like Christine urge hospital executives at NewYork-Presbyterian to continue nurses' healthcare and negotiate a fair contract now!
