Hope you managed to get some kip!

I got to see a dog in a pink hat while at work today. So while my body is running on fumes, I have work-dog joy.

Half of my grandfather’s family called him “Bob” instead of “Joe” and they called his brother Steve “Wally” 🤔
Baffled by transphobes insisting that the name on your birth certificate is Your True Name Forever when it was common in my grandparents' generation to just...pick a name you like and use that, nbd. I literally found out both of my grandma's birth certificate first names FROM THEIR OBITUARIES.

Worth watching this in full. The statement is more powerful than this quote alone. Here is is from USA Today, with alt text.

Also! Rich Ruohonen is a personal injury lawyer and the oldest athlete to ever represent the United States in a Winter Games at 54 years old.

And I am at 8.4 so far for the day. Grateful to be home. Both children are looking at me longingly for food and/or go somewhere.

My dad’s birthday is the 31st and it would be the best present ever 🤔
It isn't an empty gesture, it may not do anything now, but it's a signal to history, and to the world and to ourselves, that this is not ok.

Don’t look away from MN. ICE is still wreaking havoc across the state - changing their tactics to deceive Minnesotans - pretending to be construction workers or folks delivering groceries. Still over 2,000 ICE agents in the state. They’re not going anywhere, your anger and outrage shouldn’t either.

My the Chlo yelled at me because her first treato somehow disappeared and then because she didn’t want me to go to work. She’s likely asleep up against the living room radiator per usual now.

Yinzers - this is your friendly neighborhood insurance professional reminding you to check your inside walls & ceilings for leaks with all the snow and ice melting today, especially if it's a room you don't go in often. Been taking hourly claims for water making people's ceilings sag for a week now.
