Did you know Starbucks is the biggest labor-law violator in modern U.S. history, and Colorado workers are now filing even more complaints?

This piece lays out exactly what baristas are up against and why the ULP strike is happening.

How Starbucks tried to quash union activity in Colorado
The coffee giant shuttered a store in Colorado Springs in 2022 shortly after its workers voted to unionize. A federal agency later ordered Starbucks to reopen that store, along with 22 others.

BREAKING: Striking Starbucks baristas and their allies are demonstrating in Newport Beach today.

Why?

Because the company has racked up more federal labor law violations than any other corporation IN U.S. HISTORY!

Stand with these workers as they protest unfair labor practices!

Apple is anti-union.

Tesla is anti-union.

Amazon is anti-union.

McDonald's is anti-union.

Starbucks is anti-union.

Google is anti-union.

Walmart is anti-union.

These mega-corporations aren’t on workers’ side and their actions make it painfully clear.

In the running for "Overreaction of the Year Award," CEO Brian Niccol has barricaded his office to avoid striking baristas getting anywhere near him.

No matter. We'll be waiting right out front when you're ready to talk, Brian!

WHAT STARBUCKS WILL PAY FOR:

✅A swanky office with all the fixings so CEO Brian Niccol can chill near his home in Newport Beach
❌Investing in workers with fair pay, hours, & protections in a union contract that would cost LESS THAN 1 DAY OF SALES

We just want to chat, Brian... #NoContractNoCoffee

Today, the Trump administration announced that it would terminate work permits and deportation protections for nearly 4,000 Burmese who have lived and worked in the U.S. for years. This separates families and fuels the Trump administration’s cruel deportation agenda.

Four airlines are profiting from Trump’s deportation machine & making millions flying deportation flights where immigrant workers are often shackled, abused, and denied basic dignity. @seiupres.bsky.social is calling it out & urging these CEOs to drop their ICE contracts. Read here: seiu.co/3XNLK0A

Starbucks has billions for CEO pay and stock buybacks, but not a fair contract for its workers.

Baristas are on a ULP strike to remind executives who actually creates the company’s profits.

Airport safety doesn’t start in the cockpit, it starts on the ground—with workers often ignored and underpaid.

Let’s remember those who keep travel moving, and let's build a world where their rights and dignity matter as much as our flights. ✊🏾 https://seiu.co/3XbLtV2
Airport safety begins on the ground, with the workers we too often ignore
The people who keep planes moving and cargo flowing often earn poverty wages. That's unacceptable.

Profits soaring. Layoffs rising. Wages stuck.

This is exactly why we organize.
This is why we UNIONIZE.
To take back what’s ours.

Pass it on.

SOOOOO Donald Trump took $116 million from at least 30 individuals or companies who then directly benefited from his actions.

So tell me again how this is OK.

Trump has doubled his wealth this year off crypto scams and clear pay-to-play practices.

“America First” was always a distraction from the real project: enriching himself. BREAKING UPDATE: He was never going to lower grocery prices.

Workers are escalating the ULP strike until Starbucks finally does the right thing and bargains in good faith. ✊🏾☕️

Companies like Starbucks (whose workers are actively striking), Amazon, Target & Home Depot weaken worker power. They bend to Trump’s harmful regime and shamelessly union bust.
