Yeah, that's less than ideal. I heard more stories than I care to remember about kids being born at 24-28 weeks, and being termed 'viable', but living in an incubator for months afterwards, with god knows how many other issues.

Ex was a NICU nurse, and our second ended up in the NICU for something relatively minor for about 6 days. We'd have been living in a box somewhere had we hit our max by having the temerity to birth a child with a medical issue.
