NYT reports that Letitia James’s great niece lives in the home that is the subject of the indictment.

The niece reportedly testified before a *different* grand jury, telling them that she had lived there for many years without paying rent. James visits regularly.

But in June, IMs. Thompson testified to a grand
jury in Norfolk that she had lived in the house for years and that she did not pay rent, a person familiar with her testimony said. She was not asked to testify again, and the grand jury that voted to indict Ms. James was not seated in Norfolk, but in Alexandria.
The specter of Mr. Trump's revenge campaign has so far overshadowed the facts of the case, given how he has pushed for Ms. James's punishment. For years, he has railed against her on social media, calling her a "crook" and
"corrunt" Last month. he also appointed Ms. for a peaceful life after years of turbulence in several cities.

This week, with the filing of court papers some 200 miles north, the plan came to an abrupt end.

If James visits the home regularly then it is available to her for personal use, which means it is not a “rental investment property” as defined by the mortgage rider…and therefore negates the central claim of the indictment

OUR tax dollars are being used to bail out Argentina, OUR troops are being put on the ground in Israel & OUR soil is being used by Qatar for a military base of their own.
While OUR government is shutdown.

The swarm of blackhawks over Grant Park in downtown Chicago is not only unnecessary, but menacing AND inflammatory as well. But that is Trump’s whole point isn’t it? Happening right NOW!

It would be bad enough if that’s all ICE did to kids in Chicago

But they also

•Descended on them with Black Hawk helicopters

•Unleashed armed men who broke into their homes in the middle of the night

•Removed them from their families

•Zip-tied them

•And detained them for hours

Unconscionable

This term, the Supreme Court could pave the way for states to oust 19 Black and Brown members of Congressmen by demolishing the Voting Rights Act in Louisiana v. Callais

Which would cripple minority representation at the federal level

And gerrymander up to 27 districts for Republicans in total

Can’t sleep. My amazing 25yo miracle son will undergo his 42nd surgery at 7:30am.

I won’t go into details, except to say:
💛 His medical team is excellent
🙏🏽 For the first time ever, our healthcare “insurance” was largely dependent on a GFM

No one should have to live this way.
