I bought it and played it for 8 hours straight and it’s peak. Tactician almost feels not hard enough, I’m trying to play with 0 grinding and I’m to Act 2. The rebalancing of some things might make it easier. Granted I know the game inside and out.

The restraint compared to the previous album is notable here, feels like it’s trying to be a bit more serious in its composition with intentional touches of their (gasp) deathcore roots, but the blend of stuff happening in this band definitely still hits bleeding edge. Fantastic stuff.
