Allow there was an uptick in fatal accidents during the pandemic that really hasn't come down, the deaths per 1,000,000 miles driven haven't changed that much. I wonder if there are less fatal accidents between vehicles because they are bigger/stronger.

Something had to give, and the Tigers having slightly less pitching (poor Tommy Kahnle -- his prime is in the past) was the difference. Great game and excellent play-by-play work by Adam Amin, who didn't try to do too much and matched the energy crackling through the stadium.

When everything gets hyperanalyzed and reactions are so instant and widely disseminated it skews everything. Given the arc of Swift's career, demand is higher than ever, so I'm not surprised by the sales figures. As for the LP, it may be a grower. Or it may be the meh LP it sounds like to me now.

Sportswriters and some fans care way more about MVP races than I do. This week marks 1/3 of the way through the NFL season. So maybe it's too soon to talk about MVP, given how much can change in 13 weeks?

It is a truth universally acknowledged that Doctor Who fans are Sparks fans. The chronology is the same; enormously popular in the mid and late 70s, becoming a cult in the 80s, and being in the wilderness during the 90s, before suddenly becoming popular again in the 2000s.

I can get anxious about work when there's a project that is stressful, or when I'm swamped in drafts and such. But I can also get anxious when I don't have any drafts because my attorneys are writing briefs or reading transcripts. It's hard to find that happy medium.
