I don't use it for writing-writing, but it's fantastic for storing and organizing notes. I use it as kind of a project bible for organizing characters, worldbuilding, etc. with longer projects. (Too individual to be a reason why it sucks, but the writing-writing features just don't click for me.)

SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

A lot of things are bad right now, but… it’s finally jacket-weather, and everything smells clean and clear and cold, and this morning a leaf fell from a tree and landed on my dog’s head like a stylish red hat and he went cross-eyed in surprise. So, some things are good. Those things are good.
