Folks, I need help. I had a severe medical incident that required ER. I'm on med leave and I have no idea if it's funded or no. Have been trying for past few months to get a workshop r3fund of 3k I'm still missing to no avail, have exhausted every opportunity. Any advice on what I can do?

This thread from Natania is important, really hits hard about women and the kinds of work they had to do, very little support from men of the day, what women were and weren't allowed to do, who got credit for fashion, and just... it meant a lot to read this 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
Something that's been on my mind as I research this topic of seamstresses is how many women work. Really work. Work from their young teens forward. And some turned to sex work to provide when their craft could not.
There were no men waiting to make them "honest women." There rarely are.
