Good morning!
Sometimes you go to sleep with three rejections and wake up with a a new release!
The Horror Zine Spring 2026 features my short story Those We Lost to the Sea which concerns a widow and his long walks to the beach. Very glad to be part of this ToC next to Autumn Leaves.

Eleventh acceptance of the year is for something I translated? Does that mean I'm a translator?

I just think the author is talented!

Either way I'll hand them the paperwork and go celebrate!

Here's a picture of my author copies of both Underland Arcana XII and the Best of Carnage House Year One:

So psyched to have my first story in @apexmag.bsky.social!

“The Island of Sea Turtles and Blood,” is a horror (and very toxic love) story about a remote island where everything is delicious and perfect.

MY FIRST COLLECTION IS GOING TO RELEASE THIS YEAR!

Can you picture this? Yeah it's extreme horror and yeah it's second person pov and yeah I'm sending emails to illustrators whose work I respect to have them on the TOC!

I might also DM you, yeah you, to request a blurb or something, who knows.

Was a novela I care deeply about rejected today? Yes

Did I use a late time trip to the laundromat to type a whole short story? Also yes.

We don't delve, we go farther.

Epic made provably incorrect statements about the game’s content, refused to provide details supporting their claims, and has not shared their claimed AO IARC certificate, which normally includes a link for the developer to appeal. They do not ‘love that studio’, they have effectively ghosted us
Earlier this week, I spoke briefly Epic about Horses, a game that was approved for release on EGS, then blocked after a re-rating

"We love that studio," Epic VP Steve Allison said of Santa Ragione, but maintained that an AO rating was a dealbreaker
