Glad I have an eye appointment scheduled tomorrow anyway. Migraines are the gift that never stop giving - now have blurry/sometimes monocular double vision in my left eye. I'm hoping they can also nudge on neurology for updated brain scans, or possibly go private because I don't like them changing.

I'm lucky, as long as not a head MRI my Respro allergy & chemical mask is permitted because it's bridge piece isn't magnetic. Think I need to get some of these if I need another head MRI, wish they blocked VOCs too!

I'm not even trying, slowly improving but this has been an awful day. Last week I didn't mind having to skip Amy & Tom entirely because of their lighting choices.

The manufacturer has the best prices buying from them direct, but they don't ship overseas. And most of the US companies that stock them don't either. I bought a lot from ACP when I lived in the US, looks like every 5 years they'll have an order from me! (Healthmate Jr Plus for anyone interested)

Oh thank goodness for Allergy Control Products in the US. My air purifier is manufactured in the US and the European supplier based in Germany has extremely high mark ups on the replacement filters. Even with the $99.00 shipping fee I saved £150.

Camera moving plus flashing and scrolling hoarding ads = very dizzy me. 😢 Turned it off pretty quickly so it won't take long to recover from, but I don't think I've seen much discussion about the access concerns those bring.

Ugh. Wanted to tune into England v Wales, but the digital pitch side hoardings have too much movement so I can't handle it on top of the rest of the graphics they flash for replays. Worried the upgraded Cae Ras ones will be even more inaccessible for me to watch from home or in person.

The majority of the care sector is too. The last government made it fairly easy for awful people to take advantage of the visa pathway they hastily set up for carer visas as a route for modern slavery. The answer isn't to make it more difficult - it's to actually monitor things better.

It was a really lovely and meaningful day. I struggled to keep tears out of my eyes at the beginning - Mickey Thomas led the way to the starting line, and John Bell was there with walking for hope too. With long covid I can't manage more than 1 event, but it was a jam packed weekend for many!

Yeah, it feels like the late summer is happening far too often. 😢 But when the weather is nice, still have to take advantage (while doing what you can to reduce carbon footprints).

I am afraid every time we play Swansea because they get dangerous when behind. Their tackle on Liv Fuller last year was so uncalled for and caused a serious injury and I think the player just got a yellow card.
