Update:

Apparently my books AND the expired coupons that made them free have "migrated" to the company that bought Smashwords. I have no idea how to access the new account.

I have unpublished my books on evil Amazon (or at least I tried to)

I resent having so little control over my own property.

All my novels are available to download for FREE. You'll find a link in the following post. Perfect reading if you're a fan of well-crafted whodunnits!

But don't just take my word for it. See what my wonderful readers have to say...

Imagine running a tea shop where all the crockery is mismatched.

It will never go entirely out of fashion.

Friday October 13, 1854.

George again. Now I'm really worried.

Instead of looking for the dog as I was told to do, I went to Brandram's Wharf for a look around.

When I found his diary there, I plucked up courage and made my way to the Bucket of Blood, where I asked to see Bertha.

Nothing too extreme drawing-wise today, just a few studies #ArtYear #art #Portrait
A drawing of two women's faces. The top one has a long face and blond hair. The bottom one has long hair tied back, a rounder face, and is laughing. A drawing of a man with a round face and glasses. He has a bald head and a white mustache and beard.

I find it fascinating. Like saying you don't want a film or a book to end. But they have to end otherwise you won't get to have that feeling again with the next book or film that knocks your socks off.

My grandad said to me once "where do you think all the words go?" I've often pondered that.

Isn't it interesting getting old?

Nobody else is going to experience this.

Well, tons of people will but they might be bad at documenting it and none of them will have your particular memories. Your memories.

Something went seriously wrong when the Italian commedia was taken up by the English.

Fat bastards with issues could suddenly become clowns.

I worked in a shop on Oxford Street where the "clown" they hired to bring people in broke a child's arm.

It made the front page of some papers.

There is nothing nice about a clown.

Oh! I couldn't agree more!!!

Thank you!

It is a real community, as small as it is. It even was when it was on the dead bird site.

Some people don't get that. I'm so grateful you do. ♥️

If you host, the last thing you need are people posting as if it's yet just another music sharing site.

You and Marsha didn't do that.

I hope so, though honestly I'm not sure.

I met some lovely people who will stay with me forever. I've had a good life. Who could ask for more?

I taught young adults with learning disabilities for 25 years.

I was the one who everybody in the Borough of Southwark turned to to explain new government legislation that affected them.

I became really pissed off towards the end. This was their job and they expected me to do it.
mtgallagher.bsky.social
So do I!

I was also very wary about how I spoke to them.
mtgallagher.bsky.social
I'm sure you're not wrong about that! 😁

Interventions???

A fair number (7% maybe???) of my students were echolaliacs. I can't imagine why anyone would wish to intervene.

My apologies to John, but that sounds like the definition of passive-aggressive.

I'm so bad at everything, but this definitely wasn't me even when I was curious about how they were written.

This also reminds me of arriving home to find all my vinyl scattered over my living room floor and screaming, "Why can't I have anything nice?"

Took a while to realize I had the best.
