This concludes my catch up day. I'd been resisting watching the movies between scream and scream 5 because I was worried they were trash but so far so good. As Liz put it, they got 2 more to wear out their welcome. True true

It successfully built on the scaffolding of the first without abandoning the meta elements that make it a love letter to horror. I was surprised by some things, invested, hooting at the screen etc.
