Thankfully, some of yesterday's CDC firings have been rescinded.

But this should be a major scandal, not business as usual in this shitshow of an administration. It's either spectacular incompetence or an effort to make even politically untouchable positions feel precarious to those in them.

Maybe if there was someone to turn things over to we'd have seen it happen already, but you simply cannot give the government to Chuck Schumer. You can't do it. He is not equipped to do that. No one on the Democrat side is. And Mitch McConnell is unfortunately dead. (Not literally but practically.)

Honestly, I think the fact that the Democrats are so unpopular is one of the reasons that nobody has taken Trump out. Like, I don't want to be an American exceptionalist, but I don't believe anybody in the military wants to run a government. But they might knock Trump over if they could hand it off

It is frankly shameful that Schumer and Jeffries sat upon impeachment charges whenever they were leveled instead of supporting them. The Democrats cannot be let off the hook. They must not be. From Biden and Harris on down to Slotkin and Ro fuckin Khanna. They are all doing this.

Unless you force them to stop doing this shit on the IRS etc., they're going to keep doing it. And the people who have the position, Schumer and Jeffries, are frantically trying to prevent anyone else from taking that position so something might be done. They are keeping us in fascism.
