A lot of concepts of the Divine are simple "Meh. You do you, have fun don't hurt people."

When you talk about people "centering" their lives around a belief, you're taking a cookie cutter from Christians that fight YOU and apply it to everyone else. Those Christians spend ungodly (pun intended) amounts of time centering their lives around the religion, DAILY. Daily recitals, memorizing

I was raised by Catholics, which is why I'm a Witch among other things. I hear you. Our stories are similar but different, for instance I believe just at a bare glance you caught worse than I did.

Faith doesn't survive the revelation that a child's prayers to be saved from adult savagery go unheard and unanswered. If Christians want their churches not to die, they need to address the child abuse problem, especially among their clergy because the PTSD it creates turns church environments...
