Merry Xmas To All Who Celebrate (might as well get it out of the way and pin it, the pictures are all 10 years old)
"They're decaying. I should know, I had 37 injections and 11 MRIs last week."
President Trump has called European allies of the U.S. “weak” and criticized their handling of issues such as migration and the war in Ukraine. “I think they don’t know what to do,” Trump said in an interview with Politico published Tuesday. “They’re decaying.”

"What am I gonna go? Just jump up and grind my feet in somebody's couch? Like I need something to do, come on I got a little more sense than that (short pause). Yeah I remember grinding my feet in Eddie's couch."

Cocaine pardons are a hell of a drug!
Q: “You said you would have no problem with releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd.”

Trump: “I didn’t say that. You said that. I didn’t say that. This is ABC fake news.”

Trump on Dec. 3: “Whatever they have, we’d certainly release. No problem.”

That's what The Wire was missing that could have given the show actual greatness, a 1-800-SOBOTKA number so you could talk live with Frank Sobotka about all the problems both of youse have.
“Stranger Things” is the latest show to offer Easter eggs for viewers who try to call a fictional character. If you call the number, it really does sound like you have reached through time, space and the barrier between fiction and fact.

Jeez if only they had some Constitutional powers related to the declaration and prosecution of war, well, none of them have probably read the Constitution and Thune and Johnson have about one veterbra between them and it's the tailbone.
Congressional Republicans have been largely supportive of the Trump administration’s strikes on boats in the Caribbean Sea.

But President Trump’s declaration that the U.S. could soon bomb Venezuelan territory has put GOP lawmakers on edge.
GOP lawmakers wary of Trump escalating beyond boat strikes in Venezuela
President Donald Trump has said Nicolás Maduro’s “days are numbered” as the country’s leader and declined to rule out deploying U.S. troops on the ground there.

Be on the lookout for this fourteen-fingered man riding a walrus with six tusks.
Police around the country are using AI-powered tools to sort through evidence and perform administrative tasks.

But this police department appears to be one of the first to substitute hand-drawn suspect sketches with AI-generated images.
Have you seen this (AI-generated) man? Police swap suspect sketches for AI.
Police in a Phoenix suburb appear to be the first department in the nation to use AI for suspect sketches, a practice that raises concerns among some experts.

Agreement, cease fire, affordability, these are all just words. What matters is the appearance of doing 90% of the things you promised when you're actually at -1500%.
China is buying U.S. soybeans again — but falling short of goal set by Trump trade agreement
A trade war begun by President Donald Trump early in his second term led China to halt its purchases of American soybeans.

Well if you say so mysterious article that appears to be neither news nor editorial comment, I'll continue to place my life's savings in this gas-soaked bag next to an incendiary bomb.
Silicon Valley is in an artificial intelligence boom that bears some obvious resemblances to the late-1990s dot-com boom, which birthed companies like Amazon and Google and stoked firms like Microsoft. But the mania is not a reboot of the dot-com frenzy.

Silicon Valley is again betting everything on a new technology. But the mania is not a reboot of the late-1990s frenzy.

I remember when they tried to pretend he didn't actually serve a first term when putting their thumb on the 2024 election scale, now they're pretending he isn't serving a second term while he's serving it.
I think I've discovered the worst headline formulation for this story, it takes some doing to out-Times the Times but CNBC business suck-ups have the goods. Remember when the natural disaster Hurricane Trade War hit the Midwest?

President Donald Trump has imposed shifting tariff policies on most countries, while pushing to reshape relationships with China and other major trade partners.

We need to crack down on the transnational criminal cartels that are fueling American overdose deaths.

President Trump needs to explain how blowing up boats headed for Suriname is advancing that critical objective and how pardoning a convicted Honduran narco-trafficker is making America safer.

For @levin.bsky.social I think this is the re-recorded Brandenburg Concerto #3, third movement from Wendy Carlos in the mid-70s because the originals from Switched-On Bach were a bit torpid. It was on a special double LP of just Brandenburg Concertos and on the Switched-On CD boxed set.
