Like the BIGGEST danger of Generative AI, particularly in Journalism, isn’t in it’s ability to fabricate lies, its instead a side-effect of that: that people will doubt the truth, even when presented hard evidence. AI is pushing us toward a dangerous cultural psychosis, where reality doesn’t exist.

Dans cette étude menée par @buffer.com sur 18 MILLIONS de posts, la conclusion est claire et nette : si vous ne payez pas, vous n'existez pas. Si vous payez, vous n'existez pas non plus ! Sauf si vous avez l'abo le + cher et là, les bots vous ciblent directement, alors vous avez de "l'engagement" 👍

Graphique de portée médiane X premium VS X non premium entre août 2024 et août 2025. Les non premium frôlent avec le 0, les premium entre 700 et 1000 (avec tendance baissière en prime)

Graphique d'engagement médiane X premium VS X non premium entre août 2024 et août 2025. Les non-premium s'ecroulent depuis janvier 2025 pour toucher le 0 depuis juillet 2025. Le premium passe de 0,3% à 0,4%.

Twitter était incroyable, fut un temps. Il a donné des carrières à beaucoup de monde, including me. Ce temps-là est hélas révolu depuis longtemps sauf si vous cherchez un taff de chroniqueur sur CNEWS.

La visibilité n'existe plus. La conversion non plus. Restent les stats faussées par les bots.

Despite it having the most followers of any platform for me, Twitter is converting at lower numbers than EVERY OTHER social media platform I'm using (Facebook, Threads, Instagram, Bluesky).
