I know I hold myself yo unreasonably high standards, and when it comes to life I try very hard not to feel the same way about other people

But when it comes to home renos, I will absolutely judge your laziness.

Also vet wrap is the greatest invention ever.

So it was a cracked radiator, making it a $800 racoon, and a good lesson in car ownership

He's always been good at saving his money (he bought the car himself), but a few days without his freedom and a bill that too up most of his savings are going to leave a dent too

I have AMAZING friends who I can talk to about everything I talk to my therapist about, but my therapist has an outsider's perspective and a different set of experiences

Although, like all my girlfriends, she also thinks my ex is an absolute knob.

It doesn't need to be long hard talks and crying every time.

Like today,

I talked to my therapist about the hard stuff, of course, but we also spent a good chunk of our session talking about our pets and laughing as per usual

In Ontario we have great consumer protection when it comes to work estimates

So, for instance if an electrician quotes you 3.5K for a job and then tries to charge you 9.8K instead, that is well over the allowable 10% difference
