In Ontario we have great consumer protection when it comes to work estimates

So, for instance if an electrician quotes you 3.5K for a job and then tries to charge you 9.8K instead, that is well over the allowable 10% difference

Last harvest from the garden

Butternut aren't all quite ripe, but hard frost tonight, so they're in the garage & I'll wheel them out in the sun again tomorrow

I'll have to process & can all of these as they won't store properly

Just enough tomatoes to make my son his favourite soup

So much work for so little visible progress and I have SO much more silicone to take off 😫

Oh right, that's why this project took me 15 years to tackle

At 3 hours of work now scraping & sanding

(Yes a window panel is missing, I had to take it out to fix around it)

3 hours of work scraping silicone and removing wood pieces that used to hold plexiglass since these windows are only single pane

She had a big day 😄

I got dragged through the paint store, the ReStore, PetValue, & Canadian Tire

Much to her dismay there were no rats to be found

But she met lots of people, got tones of cuddles, & made a lot of people smile with how invested she was in hunting
