The bloody character limit here doesn't allow nearly as much as I need to pay tribute to Ozzy so here's what I posted over on Facebook. A true hero. Black Sabbath have always made me proud of Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Fuck. RIP Ozzy. As part of Black Sabbath he's one of the four godfathers and progenitors of Heavy Metal. No other band makes me prouder of Birmingham & The West Midlands in general. I've had so many good times listening to Ozzy, from dancing to Perry Mason at the Jailhouse as a teenager, to watching Sabbath at various Ozzfests, to laughing at his brilliant sense of humour, to singing along to Crazy Train with Elodie in the car.

Thank you Ozzy. Thanks for everything. You'll be missed.

I'm going to try and find a bat and bite its head off in tribute, or failing that, at least piss on the alamo...

Slightly worried that Lorde has put up plastic sheeting around the Woodsies stage at Glastonbury in a very similar style to Dexter's kill room. There's a good chance she'll be dismembering the corpse of her synth player at the end of her set.
