I realized that when Xbox purchased Double Fine we had hit our max-gaming-irony moment. They were going to publish the first Psychonauts game but then left DF during its development. Now we’re getting multi-platform Halo.

Loved it.
Clearly remember a 45 minute death scene that went so long I began laughing.

I think high costs and a fractured Democratic Party was more responsible, versus having unidentified masked men splitting families and rounding-up kids inside a church.

But maybe people did specifically vote for that. Those would be some incredibly fucked-up people.

The ending is so nuts it sets up a third game where the main-character basically has super-powers fighting a global conspiracy. Really wanted to see how more insane it could get.

First game is something like the film Seven, third game would have been Man Of Steel. It’s hilarious.

And for context, you do everything you’d normally do at the end of a game in it. Attack the bad guys lair, even fight the final boss. But the writing is so bad you have no idea what any stakes are, or what you’re doing, that the end just “happens”. So the credits roll and you’re like: oh it’s over?

Not the ‘worst game’, but when it comes to game credits I can’t shake the ending of the original Destiny out of my head. The story-telling was so bad, it’s the only game I’ve ever played that when the credits rolled I was genuinely surprised, because I had no idea I was at the end.

The covers of many mid 2000s PS2 budget titles, have this uncanny look sometimes. It’s like they make you question if they actually exist or are some-form of internet shit post. Everything about this cover screams “I just learned Photoshop” but I wouldn’t be surprised this thing was actually sold.

I like the part where they canceled the original Tron 3 for more Pirates films, and then made a Tron 3 that has nothing to do with the first two films.

Disney is smart and run by people smart money.
