All I've thought about for a week straight is Shoresy's big speech from the Season 4 finale. 🫐

This is an interesting comparison. "The appeal they make to voters, and the way voters respond, is uncannily similar."

It’s interesting how much the shift favors the hardware with these latest generations — screen capture, broadcasting, quick resume, cross save/progression, cloud streaming and saves. It changes how we enjoy games more than the games themselves. IMO we need bigger ambitions than graphics for games

Happy Texas Chainsaw Saw Massacre anniversary — 51 years old and still the best to ever do it.

I fell in love with the multiplayer game and can’t recommend it enough—multiplayer stealth at its absolute best and most stressful. I’ve played nearly 400 hours and will stop when the game deactivates 😎

Hi everyone, there is a 5$ flat worldwide shipping event for giclee prints this weekend, just got myself three prints from another artist who I admire. If you're based in Europe, this is the time 🌿 have a good weekend!

Honestly didn’t think we’d get to a game five. What a stunner. What a series.

I skipped the optional dungeon and played on easy, but HLTB has it at 4-5h on average!

I was looking for affordable versions of that on PS2 after securing a Demon Siege copy. It’s pricy! I remember it not getting a lot of love at the time but conceptually it seems awesome and ambitious in ways I’m into for sureeee

Yeah the demo for the third game with Jean Reno really made me want to play them all but I was a broke young fella. Correcting this because my excitement for the new one is through the roof.

I’ve long admired Onimusha, I played and loved a demo in the 2000s but never got to it until the recent HD release — strong recommend! This is pinnacle PS2 stuff. And a tight 4 hour campaign that feels much longer and more dense than that ♥️

Oh I forgot about this! Great check thank you.

The cinematic presentation is fantastic throughout. It’s weird as hell. It takes itself just seriously enough. Combat is a great time. Modernizing these controls goes a long way — exploration and puzzle solving are a total joy.

Onward to Onimusha 2

Finally played through Onimusha for the first time and this is a stone-cold killer Capcom classic.

I’ve wanted to play these games for ages and the first is a lean, ferocious action RPG that wastes zero time. Really fast progression with enough depth to make you want to keep slaying demons

Did you know I wrote a book about the origins of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, console RPGs, and their rise to success in North America?

Blessed are the frogs, for they keep making authoritarians look incredibly stupid
Three persons in inflatable frog costumes. One of them is holding a nicely painted sign with two little cartoon frogs holding hands, below the text "FROGS TOGETHER STRONG"
